Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway

Afrikana welcomed children and families to our community center for backpacks, school supplies, and community connection. We prepared 185 backpacks and recorded 185 Back-to-School registrations. Backpacks and school supplies were distributed to participating families during the event.

Community Family Gathering & BBQ

Families from Louisville's African immigrant and refugee communities gathered for food, recreation, fellowship, and community connection. The gathering strengthened relationships and introduced families to Afrikana's growing programs and community work.
